    教學內容:人教版新目標九年級Unit 8 Section A 3a-4

    教材分析:本課是新目標英語九年級第八單元第二課時。本單元圍繞I'll help clean up the city parks開展多種教學活動,讓學生學會用I'll help do sth.句型來回答別人的詢問和告訴別人自己幫助他人的經歷。本課時是關于volunteers的一個閱讀材料,是一節閱讀與口語課,是在學習了幫助他人的方式和大量的聽力訓練后展開教學的。通過鞏固上課所學的短語并進行會話練習,使學生學會給他人提供幫助,通過閱讀訓練,進一步加深對目標語言的理解和運用。

    學生分析:初三學生正處于感性向理性的轉型期,求知欲和表現參與意識很強,有一定的邏輯分析能力,同時也需要教師的積極引導。

    教學目標:

    1.知識目標:

    a.掌握詞匯:major, commitment, veterinarian, home to, several

    hours a week, after-school care center, put ... to good use,

    spend time doing sth., not only ... but also ...

    b.掌握句型:You could help coach a soccer team. Being a volunteer is great. Not only do I feel good about helping other people, but I get to spend time doing what I love to do.

    2.能力目標:a.能夠用語言和語法知識進行閱讀并理解文章意思。

    b. 如果學校開展志愿者活動,能比較流利的講述自己能夠做的事

    情。C.提高學生聽、說、讀、寫的綜合能力。

    3.情感目標:圍繞volunteering這個話題,培養學生為他人著想,熱愛公益事業,樂于助人的優良品質。

    4.策略目標: a.善于抓住用英語交流的機會。

             b.積極參與,善于合作。

    教學重點:

    1.掌握重點詞匯及重點句型spend…doing, each of, volunteer to do,plan to do, Being a volunteer is great.的用法。

    2. 學會用目標語言寫作。

    教學難點:熟練運用句型help do sth.表達自己的想法,并幫助學生選擇他們的志愿者工作。

    介紹一些志愿者的故事,鼓勵學生多幫助他人,關心他人,關注社會,學習主人公的志愿者精神,告訴學生們贈人玫瑰,手留余香的道理。
