Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat. In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves. Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.
Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is shown in the chart, we can see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will continue. From 1980 to 20xx, at least 1 million animal species have disappeared. Worse still, more and more wild animals are in great danger. It is not a piece of sensational news; it is a fact, a harsh reality. Unfortunately, we may not see these animals in the near future. From the second picture, we can find some reasons. Why is the number of animal species declining year by year? Apparently animals have become victims of fashion industry. Animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes and these clothes sell at a high price.
So some greedy people begin to kill animals in a large quantity. This irresponsible behavior not only breaks the balance of nature but also endangers the living environment of human beings. As far as I am concerned, something must be done to stop this illegal action. We believe "no buying, no killing". First, we must make concerning laws to protect these animals in danger. Second, we must take some measures to protect animals effectively. Animals are our friends and part of our environment. Third, we should raise people's awareness to protect animals and our environment. In this way, we can build a harmonious society and ensure a sustainable development.

I am very glad to give a speech today.The topic of my speech is the animal.I always think that animals are the friends of our human
beings.They are not so complicated as our people,and they can always bring us plenty of happiness and satisfaction. Since I was a child,I have been keeping animals,such as cats,dogs,ducks and so on.Sometimes I feel a little troublesome to feed them,but everytime I think about the happiness they have brought to my family,I will find that it is worth doing it in spite of so much hard working.You can imagine that,when you come home with your tired body,dogs are rushing at you and swinging their tails happily.That kind of warm feeling can be only brought by the pets. Both the domestic animals and the wild animals are
lovely.However,they are being treated cruelly by lots of people at present.I can't understand those people.You may not like animals,even you could hate them,but you have no rights to hurt them. Every life of the living creatures is equal.Every life of them has the right to live happily.Human beings mustn't hurt those innocent creatures for our personal desire. Animals regard us as their friends,so we should let them enjoy their happy lives too. Now,that is all of my speech today.Thanks for your listening.

hello, ladies and gentlemen. today, i am very glad to share my stories and opinions about animal protection. at the beginning, let’s ask ourselves this question, what kind of pets have i had before? for me, they are cats, exclusively. yeah, i am fond of cat. i almost spend my childhood with cat. i can still remember their silky fur, i can still heard their sweet voice. also, i can still touch their soft paws. they already become my family’s visible soul. but unfortunately, like the saying goes, curiosity kills cat.
my last cat , with white fur, one light-green eye and the other pale yellow, left home and never to return. i can only believe that it is murdered by a butcher. and i cannot find the murderer, but i know god will punish him in the end. not just cat, i like all kinds of animals. some are beautiful, some are peculiar. some are powerful, some are cute…… but somebody not. animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they are in the way. these animals are turning into souvenirs, trinkets and ingredients, for ancient medicine and delicacy.
attacks on tigers and elephants are multiplying at an alarming rate. species around the globe such as dolphins are endangered. i cannot conceive the moment that our children look at the animals on video only and see the animals’ specimens in museum only, even to touch the animals, frozen body only. while someone do not care that! i don’t know, and i can’t believe. why they are so greedy? why they are so cruel? why there are so many sly old devils? they are cold-blooded, they don’t understand my heart is wrung out after noticing my lovely cat is missing and may well be killed. i’m a student yet i know we are all part of a family, six billion strong, in fact, 30 million species strong and we all share the same air, water and soil, people and governments will never change that. our world will be a less beautiful place without them. if don’t know how to help them, please stop hurting them.
if don’t know how to care them, please stop maltreating them. if don’t know how to protect them, please, please stop killing them. believe me, and believe you. by working together, we can make a difference. no sale no killing, when buying stops, the killing can too. thanks.

Animals have a lot of beneficial to people, such as a dragonfly,frogs, andso on.
Let's say a dragonfly, it is a beneficial insects, it can be more benefitsto people. It lives in a small pond and catch insects. Some people, catchdragonflies, catching dragonflies, caught after sold everywhere. We should giveus a protection law for the dragonfly, if they dare to catch dragonflies,catching dragonflies, is just that, to the police.
The frog is not exceptional also, it is also catch insect expert,however,it lives in the pool near the crops, sometimes, it is also to the ground, nextto catch insects, people call it a good helper to protect the crops. Somechildren, next to the pool, catch frogs, back home,eat frogs. We should be inthe pool a tree brand, with "protect the frog,everyone duty", someone so as notto catch frogs.
If it were not for the beneficial animals, insects would increase.
In thisway, even the spirit of pesticides and pest control. We should to protectanimals together.

Animals are our good friends. People should be friendly to them. But now,many people in China as well as in the world kill animals in order to get money.It's well known that there are many kinds of rare animals in China, such aspandas, golden monkeys and so on. Some people catch or kill them. They use theirfurs and skins to make clothes and shoes or eat their meat. As a result, a lotof rare animals have disappeared.
What a pity!
At present, our government have made some plans to punish these people.Recently, some nature parks have been built. Lots of money collected forprotecting them. For example, some students put on perfom ances or have otherkinds of activities to collect money for rare animals. It's our duty to protect wild animals. As nature is like a big family, manand animals must live together in it peacefully. We must keep the balance ofnature. If we do like this, our world will become better and better.
