“天啊，為什么每天的英語單詞都這么多啊！”幾乎天天都能聽到我和同學(xué)們的感嘆。回想小學(xué)時(shí)，一學(xué)期也學(xué)不了多少新詞。而現(xiàn)在，英語筆記本是消耗最大的一本本子，甚至一天學(xué)的生詞，與一學(xué)期的`相差無幾。繁重的英語單詞“壓”得我喘不過起來，就連寫其他作業(yè)時(shí)，我嘴里也不時(shí)輕聲念叨著。
最怕的，還是英語考試了。我像極了寓言中寫到的那個(gè)撿一個(gè)玉米棒掉一個(gè)的大灰熊：面對厚厚一本英語本，看著那些以前學(xué)過，可現(xiàn)在早已忘記的單詞，我的大腦一片空白——當(dāng)然，考試成績也不盡如人意。學(xué)英語，真是一件“苦差事”啊！

當(dāng)然，學(xué)英語也并非完全在苦海里“掙扎”。南外的英語課，充滿了趣味：每節(jié)課都會(huì)播放一首英文歌，課前也有同學(xué)上講臺(tái)演講。而且老師們一直在教我們地道的句型和實(shí)用的表達(dá)方法。我永遠(yuǎn)也不會(huì)忘記，當(dāng)逛商場時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn)藥店門口寫著pharmacy時(shí)的激動(dòng)；坐地鐵時(shí)看到Olympicstadium的激動(dòng)……我感到所有事物正以一種從未有過的方式重組，正如用截然不同的方法詮釋整個(gè)世界。大概這就是學(xué)英語的魅力所在了吧！
