I’m very proud that I have chosen to speak to you all today, I’m a bit(=a little) nervous as I’ve never made a speech before to so many people ,so please forgive me if it shows.
As we all know, the environmemt around us is getting worse and worse . In some places we can’t see fish swimming in the river or trees on the hills. Some people even have no clean water to drink. So I think we must do something to protect the environment. .But what can we doHow to protect our environmemt For example ,we can go to school on foot or by bike . we can use shopping basskets not plastic bags when we go shopping and we can use both sides of the paper when we write . In a word ,if everyone pays more attention to our environment , there will be less pollution and our lives will be better.

The lucky-number has become increasingly popular in daily life of mordern socialty. For example, the number eight means big money which people like most, while the number four means death.
Some people believe lucky numbers so deeply that they will afford a telephone with numbers without four and others which is bad in their mind. they argue that the lucky-number really can bring good luck, and, at least, no evidence testify they can not.
As far as I am concerned, there is no such relationship betwwen the numbers and lucky, for the reason that numbers theirself are given certain meaning for the purpose of application of mathmetic. 就拿那節(jié)課來說吧，課上Mr.Yu正在興致勃勃地講課，講得手舞足蹈，我們也聽得津津有味，突然，他停了下來，推了推眼鏡說：“我們不論做什么都要認(rèn)真，大家看xxx，開小差開得特別認(rèn)。”Mr.Yu把“特別”二字拉得特別長(zhǎng)，我們順勢(shì)看去，原來“徐徐”正專心地?cái)[弄著什么，看到我們的目光，“徐徐”慚愧地低下了頭……說罷Mr.Yu繼續(xù)上課，上著上著他又走到“徐徐”邊上，敲了敲他的桌子，原來他又故伎重施，我心想：這下Mr.Yu該大發(fā)雷霆了，可沒想到他只是輕描淡寫地說了句：“xxx同學(xué)，下課我邀請(qǐng)你到我辦公室聊一聊啊。”“徐徐”聽了正襟危坐，不敢再亂動(dòng)了。我暗自驚嘆：Mr.Yu真是個(gè)高人，連批評(píng)人都那么不動(dòng)聲色，用語(yǔ)還非常幽默，效果卻立竿見影。
Mr.Yu教育犯錯(cuò)的人的方法也很特別，有次英語(yǔ)課上我和同桌鬧翻了天，“有幸”得到了他的邀請(qǐng)，下課來到了他的辦公室。問清前因后果之后，他告訴我們要愛人如己，相互理解，之后給了我倆一人一包餅干，說：“獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)你們以后和睦相處。”就讓我們回去上課了。犯了錯(cuò)還得獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)，這獨(dú)特的`“懲罰”，讓我記憶猶新，直到現(xiàn)在我和同桌一直和睦相處。這獨(dú)特的“懲罰”可不只有我倆領(lǐng)教過。以前“徐徐”和后面兩位一上英語(yǔ)課就對(duì)著干，懲罰一次之后他們?cè)僖矝]有吵過。
這就是我的英語(yǔ)老師Mr.Yu，一個(gè)臉上總帶著微笑，和氣，幽默，像朋友一樣的男老師。

Today our school had an opening ceremony in the school auditorium. All the teachers and students as well as some famous scientists and government officials attended. Our principal made a speech. Principal also announced that some honour students received Zhou Peiyuan scholarships because they had won medals in various competitions. A famous scientist then made a speech.He told the students about his learning experience and how he achieve success in his research work. I was so moved by what he said.
