　　Many students in our class often said: “If we have time, we will go out of school to do something for our society”. I agreed with them. We hope to have a special day every week to help others.

　　Last month we went to an old people’s home and sang some beautiful songs and performed a play for them. The old people were so happy that they asked us to see them again. I think we should be allowed to take time to do things like that more often. We should be allowed to have Friday afternoon to volunteer and help the people who need our help. Because everyone needs help.

　　星期天我去英語班學完英語回到家，打開英語CD碟開始復習當天學習的內容，奶奶從廚房走出來看見我那認認真真學習的樣子，高興地對我說：“你真是個好孩子，這么用功，孫女呀，我也想學英語，可不可以教我呀？”我一聽，心想：新鮮啊！奶奶六十多歲了，還要學英語，我簡直不敢相信自己的耳朵了，可是看見奶奶那認真的`樣子，我不得不相信這是真的。就對奶奶說：“可以，我來教您”。

　　我想應該先從26個英文字母開始教，就找出來一些白色卡片，做了26個英文字母卡，就開始一個一個的教給奶奶發音，奶奶一遍一遍地努力學習。從學習發音到自然拼讀，又教給奶奶如何默寫單詞，奶奶學的可認真了。

　　經過我的耐心指導和奶奶的努力學習，終于奶奶得到了很大的收獲，學會了很多英語單詞和句子。是的，也流下了不少學習的汗水，真所謂：一分耕耘，一分收獲。自從奶奶開始學習英語，家里增添了不少歡聲笑語。
