　　從前，我是一個對英語一竅不通的人。而今，我經過了一番努力，終于學會了英語。

　　自從我被送到少年宮學習英語后，我的英語水平逐漸提高了。那是我第一次舉手發言——我費勁心思練習讀好了一篇英語課文后，十分想朗讀給老師和同學們聽聽，但我又沒有這樣的勇氣。原本我是想放棄，可是如果就這樣白白浪費一次機會，那可多不劃算呀。這可是表現自我的一次大好機會。經過心里的一番思想斗爭，我的手終于舉起來了！此時，我的心都快緊張得要蹦出來啦！突然，少年宮的老師叫我起來讀課文，當時我嚇了一跳。我慢慢的地嘗試著讓我的身體離開椅子。當我開始滔滔不絕地朗讀課文時，我的害怕、顧慮都拋到九霄云外了。待我坐下后，我為自己捏了一把冷汗。此刻，我的.心情依然平靜不下來。我想：我這次在全班同學面前一定出丑了！不料，老師點了點頭，臉上露出滿意的笑容。我心里沉重的大石頭終于放下了！我不禁沉寂在歡樂和喜悅之中。因為這是我第一次邁向英語成功的步伐。自從這次的發言后，我對自己更加有信心了。快要期末時，我還代表我們班（少年宮的）參加了“英語口語大賽”。那次比賽，我發揮出了我最好的水平。雖說沒有拿到好的名次，但這也是一種自我的挑戰。

　　我們班的英語老師長得美麗極了！

　　她有一頭深棕色的長發，總是扎個馬尾辮，露出自己的劉海，青春靚麗、精神抖擻。她的眼睛大大的、亮亮的、水靈靈的，如寶石一般閃亮，還有一張櫻桃小嘴，如果再配上大紅裙和高跟鞋的話，簡直就是仙女下凡。

　　可是“仙女”也有時候會被我們班幾個調皮搗蛋的.男孩弄生氣，“仙女”生氣的時候，她的雙眼瞪得如瓶蓋一般大，盯著這位同學，但還是會用溫柔的語氣告訴他怎么做才是對的。

　　“仙女”多才多藝，有時候會做一些有趣的小手工，有時候會唱英文歌曲，她的歌聲如百靈鳥一般動聽，有時候她還會和我們一起做課堂小游戲……其中最令我難忘的是一次課本劇表演。“仙女”老師讓我們表演大課文，我們四個同學為一組，我是售貨員，小葉是邁克，小徐是蒂姆，小陳是海倫，大陳是熊貓。我們反復練習，互相糾正讀音，輪到我們時，大家表現得非常認真，可我掉鏈子說錯了一句。表演完我主動指正了自己的錯誤，同學們還是給了我們最高的三星。“仙女”老師溫柔地對我們說：“你們表演的非常棒，雖然讀錯了一個，可小黃同學主動指正自己的錯誤，所以我給他們三星，大家也要向他學習，勇于承認錯誤，努力改正錯誤。”聽著“仙女”老師的評價，我當場高興得跳了起來，回到座位上，仍然心跳加速，我暗暗地鼓勵自己“沒有最好，只有更好！”

　　現在，大家都知道吧！這就是我最喜歡的英語老師“茅老師”，她也是一位美麗溫柔的仙女。
