In the blink of an eye, the New Year is coming soon. The New Year is the most traditional festival in our country. So I went to buy firecrackers with my mother.

I gave him a box, we put a empty bottle of mineral water bottles on the ground, put off firecrackers in the bottle, and then run, firecrackers in a bottle for a long time, didn't ring, turned out to be a damp squib.
So we ran to the lawn, we lit firecrackers and then into the air above a throw, firecrackers said rang in the air, this time, we decided to throw firecrackers on the tree, I lost a hard, firecrackers stuck in the tree, after a few seconds, the tree sent out noise, we thought it was fun and exciting. The happy hour was always so short, it was late, and we still went home.
The happy New Year may be a picture of a rush to the supermarket to snap up the year's loan, perhaps the red and colourful festival of the lantern, maybe just a firecracker.

The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It is on January 1st according to the Chinese lunar calendar(中國的農(nóng)歷). It’s China’s New Year’s Day. So usually a month before the festival people begin to buy food clothes and decorations(裝飾) for houses.
About a week before the festival housewives are busy preparing the new year dinner. And they will do a lot of washing and cleaning in the houses. People who are far away on business are hurrying to return home for the new year’s family reunion(團聚).
On New Year Eve each family will gather tighter eating talking and watching TV for almost the whole night. And there will be some interesting programmes on TV. The children are the happiest of all because they can get presents from parents or grandparents.
On Lunar New Year’s Day after getting up people will eat dumplings. When they meet their neighbours or friends they’ll say: “Happy New Year!”

Chinese people have been celebrating the Mid-Autumn festival and enjoying mooncakes for centuries. My favorite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. We usually enjoy the moon on the night of that day. And we also eat fruits, peanuts and mooncakes. I like it because all my family members can sit together to have dinner and talk with each other. Changes in my hometown
My hometown has changed a lot in the last few years. In the past, there used to be old small houses in my hometown. The river in front of the village was very dirty, and smelt terrible. The children had to go to school on foot or by bike. But now there are many new tall buildings instead of the small houses. It looks clean everywhere in my hometown. The river is clear enough for children to swim in. Most children go to school by bus, and some parents take their children to school in a car.
