Tt is known to us that the exam is the main method to measure the students'knowledge in school.But nowadays this method is almost be-coming the only way to judge the students'ability and knowledge.
If this method is over-used,I believe it will do us more harm than good.For one thing,too many exams keep the students from reading widely,because the students are forced to prepare the lessons to be examed.Their knowledge can only be narrowed within few text-books taught in class.For another,the exam itself encourages rigid memoriza-tion instead of initiating the students'creativtiy and individual thinking which will be of great importance in their future work.
So we can conclude that too many exams are not good to the stu-dents.Some measures should be taken to lessen the students'burden.Remember the main purpose of the exam is to urge and encourage the students to learn more.
我們知道考試是學(xué)校檢查評(píng)定學(xué)生知識(shí)水平的主要方法。如今這種方法幾乎成了判斷學(xué)生能力與知識(shí)水平的唯一手段了。
如果這種方法濫用，我相信這將會(huì)弊多而利少。理由一，太多的`考試阻礙了學(xué)生廣泛地學(xué)習(xí)，因?yàn)閷W(xué)生必須復(fù)習(xí)那些考試的科目。他們的知識(shí)也只能局限于課堂上講授的那幾本書(shū)。 理由二，考試本身鼓勵(lì)了死記硬背，并沒(méi)有倡導(dǎo)學(xué)生要有創(chuàng)造精神，要獨(dú)立思考，而這些正是他們將來(lái)工作所必需的。
因此我們可以講，太多的考試對(duì)學(xué)生并沒(méi)有什么好處。應(yīng)該采取一些措施來(lái)減輕學(xué)生的負(fù)擔(dān)。要記住考試的主要目的是督促和鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生去學(xué)習(xí)更多的知識(shí)。

On the other hand, others insist on not having it built in the city, They are worrying about the pollution most. They believe that the factory will produce noises which will disturb people’ s peaceful life. Besides, poisonous gas from the thctory will dirty the air we breathe. The river will also be polluted by the waste water from the factory.

Not only does it affect our lives and health, it also has a great affection in the future. People’s health has been greatly affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people died of diseases. In order to live a better life, something must be done to stop the pollution. It’s our duty to protect our environment. We shouldn’t throw away rubbish everywhere. Trees are very helpful and important for us.
We should plant more and more trees in order to live better and more healthy in the future.
