Dear Headmaster，

　　I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we’ve had on whether the school should organize a spring outing for the students。Opinions on the question are divided as follows 。

　　70% of the students think that the school should organize the spring outing。They believe that the spring outing well make them enjoy the beautiful scenery of nature，which can broaden their vision and fill them with more knowledge。They also say that the air in the open fields is fresher。What’s more，fresh air does a lot of good to their health 。

　　One the other hand，30% of the students don’t like the idea。In their opinion，time is very precious，and they have to make use of every minute to work hard at their lessons。Besides，traveling costs a lot。In that case，it will add to their families’ burden。And if they go out to a strange place，no one can be sure of the safety of every student 。

　　In my opinion，the spring outing is beneficial not only to our health but to our study。However，it should be properly organized 。

　　Every year， with the coming of spring， the weather will get warmer. And we usually have a spring outing at this time of the year.

　　Because of the warm and pleasant days， many people would like to go for an outing. I still remember one of my spring outings， for it was a very interesting experience. It was a bright and cheerful morning. I made a decision to visit a famous mountain near our campus. I went along with some of my schoolmates. We were singing and laughing all the way. There was a large piece of green grass land at the mountain foot. When we were climbing， we could see many beautiful flowers on the mountainside. The mountain was very high ，but we reached its top at last. There， we visited a temple and had a talk with a monk. He told us something about the history of the temple and we got to know about Sakyamuni， the founder of Buddhism. From the mountain top， we could get a birds'-eye view of our campus. It seemed very small.

　　When it was getting dark we returned. Although we were very tired at night， we were too excited to go to sleep.

　　Comes spring! Let's have an outing!

　　陽春三月，花紅柳綠，小草發芽，燕子從南方飛回來了，看到這美麗的景色，同學們都說我們去春游，到哪里春游呢？北京天安門廣場，故宮博物館，八達嶺長城，桂林山水這些地方雖然風景優美，但距離太遠，并不適合咱們去春游，因為我們是學生以學習為主，只有星期天完成作業后，抽時間去春游，我們要棄遠求近，有同學提到了青少年活動中心和西大街植物園這兩個地方，我們約定好時間說走就走。首先我們來到青少年活動中心，有位看看守大門的老爺爺，他面帶微笑和我們打招呼，院內種植著各種各樣的花草樹木，養著雞鴨鵝兔等各種動物還有高高的旗桿上飄揚著鮮艷的五星紅旗，來到這里不僅觀賞了美景，還學到了科學知識，真是一舉兩得。參觀完了青少年活動中心，我們又來到了西大街植物園，走近植物園就會看到一片片茂盛的樹林。這里的`樹木各種各樣。密密層層，還有綠綠的小草和無顏六色的鮮花，當微風吹過，小草和鮮花一搖一擺，就好像向我們招手。我愛美麗的春天，更喜歡快樂的春游。

Beijing Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City Museum, Badaling Great Wall, Guilin mountains and rivers are beautiful places, but they are too far away, so they are not suitable for us to go for spring outing. Because we are students who mainly study. Only after finishing our homework on Sunday, we take time to go for spring outing. We need to give up the distance and seek the near. Some students mentioned two places: Youth Activity Center and West Street botanical garden, We made an appointment to leave. First of all, we came to the youth activity center. There was an old grandfather watching the gate. He greeted us with a smile. There were all kinds of flowers and trees planted in the yard, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits and other animals, as well as the bright five-star red flag flying on the high flagpole. When we came here, we not only saw the beautiful scenery, but also learned scientific knowledge. It's really killing two birds with one stone. 　　April 18th is a special day for us . because we have a spring outing . In the morning ,we get on the school bus with many titbits . First , we get to the Zhejiang Museum , and watch many antigues . We are excited to know “ the 7000 years in Zhejiang ” , then we come to the Zhongshan Park . We feel a little tired, so some of us sit on the grass to have a rest . but some classmates climb the artificial hills to explore something .

　　They look very happy . In the park ,there are many beautiful flowers and lovely birds. Everyone takes lots of pictures with them. In the afternoon, we come back to school. All of us are happy, although we feel tired. We think this spring outing is funny and unforgettable.
