　　I used to think Beijing must be a grand and special city, given that it was the capital of China, and lots of events I have heard took place there. But soon after I got off the plane, I knew all was but my illusion. If I had to use one wordto describe it, nothing but “grey” will fulfil the task. As far as your eyes could see, all was covered in dust and haunted by air pollution.

　　Though it was the first time I had been to the North part of China, I was still surprised by the sharp contrast between the South and North. It wasn't hearsay.

　　It was a sunlit and enchanting scene of spring morning, when the teachers took us students of Grade 2 to go on our first spring outing. We set off at seven o'clock from school. In the warm spring breeze, we were walking there together.

　　Fifty minutes later, we got to the destination. There, we were going to have a picnic. Some of us cooked rice, some cooked dishes, and some cooked soup.

　　My deskmate, Guo Yunfeng, and I fried eggs. At first, we poured some oil in the pot. When the oil was hot enough, we put the egg into the pot.

　　Soon after that, we turned it over. We were in threes or fours, and we were all bustling with our own tasks.

　　Time's up! The meal was ready. Let's enjoy to our hearts' content. Bottoms up!

　　Then she went to swimming.And she Played happily in the swimming pool.Two hours later,she went out the water and took out the key to the locker.But soon she found she can't open it at all.She spent about half an hour to open it but nothing happened.Of course she couldn't wear a swimming suit and go out.She was worry about it.

　　We breathed the fresh air deeply and laughed heartily.

　　We left our bikes with a bike repairing shop and began to climb up the Hill.

　　Near the top, under a big tree with luxuri ant foliage we had our picnic.

　　We drank and ate, talked and laughed.

　　After the picnic we stood in the breeze with our hands on our waists, enjoying the fine landscape.

　　Then we lay on the grass talking about our life and studies.

　　At about 4 p.m., we returned with balmy greenness on our backs and freshness in our hearts.

　　Because of the warm and pleasant days， many people would like to go for an outing. I still remember one of my spring outings， for it was a very interesting experience. It was a bright and cheerful morning. I made a decision to visit a famous mountain near our campus. I went along with some of my schoolmates. We were singing and laughing all the way. There was a large piece of green grass land at the mountain foot. When we were climbing， we could see many beautiful flowers on the mountainside. He told us something about the history of the temple and we got to know about Sakyamuni， the founder of Buddhism. From the mountain top， we could get a birds'-eye view of our campus.
