A Story
Once in the ancient Kingdom of Zheng there was a man who wanted to buy himself a pair of shoes. He took the measurement of his own feet with a piece of string. then he went to the market. He was looking at some shoes at the shoe-makers when he realized he had left the measurement at home. He put down the shoes and rushed home to fetch it. By the time he returned with the measurement the market had been closed. So he failed to get his shoes.
Somebody asked him, Why didnt you just try the shoes on your feet? He answered, I would rather trust the measurement than my feet.

我們來(lái)到房間里，我開始教爺爺最簡(jiǎn)單的英文單詞。我這個(gè)小老師像模像樣的從抽屜上拿出一張白色卡紙，在上面寫了一五個(gè)英語(yǔ)單詞，開始認(rèn)真教讀起來(lái)。最好笑的要數(shù)地三個(gè)英文單詞的時(shí)候了。我用手指著“banana”這個(gè)英文單詞，故意將小嘴的動(dòng)作弄得很夸張，爺爺也跟著讀起來(lái)。看著她那很一本正經(jīng)的樣子，我這個(gè)小老師該很敬業(yè)才是呀，要不然就太對(duì)不住奶奶了。于是，我提升了難度，把這個(gè)英文單詞的寫法告訴了爺爺。只見(jiàn)爺爺握著鋼筆筆，照葫蘆畫瓢的在本子上寫下了“banana”，還不停地念著：“不拉了，不拉了……”我聽了，不禁笑起來(lái)了。哈哈，爺爺快70歲的人，還想學(xué)英語(yǔ)，還學(xué)得這么投入，真是一件新的事。
