我們現在生活在一個高科技時代，日子一天比一天過的好，可環境污染也隨著我們生活的改善變的更加嚴重了。我們應該重視低碳生活，而所謂的“低碳”就是減少二氧化碳。因為二氧化碳能讓臭氧層——也就是地球的保護傘漸漸變薄，之后就會引起新的環境問題，如過量的紫外線能使塑料等高分子材料更加容易老化和分解，結果又帶來光化學大氣污染。要想做到低碳生活首先我們要多騎車，少開車，因為現在人們便得富有起來了，幾乎每家都有一輛汽車，而汽車的尾氣的排放造成了環境污染，嚴重影響了人們的健康。其次我們還要多植樹，原因是樹木可以理沙化耕地，控制水土流失，防風固沙，增加土壤蓄水能力，可以大大改善生態環境，減輕洪澇災害的損失。還要少開空調，因為使用空調，會使新鮮的空氣中臭氧減少，特別是夏天的時候，要盡量的少開空調，可以吹吹電風扇。最后，我們還應該以環保購物袋替代塑料袋;以節能燈代替白熾燈;用永久性筷子、飯盒，取代一次性餐具;使用傳統發條鬧鐘，取代電子鬧鐘。
