Spring Festival the most important festival in China .It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar ‘s new year .In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to set off firecrackers .Dumplings are the most traditional food .Children like the festival very much ,because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their parents. Th money given to children for good luck . People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune .
The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People vit relatives and friends with the words “Have all your whes ”. People enjoy the Spring Festival ,during th time they can have a good rest .

And then families sit together and share their lives or planes. Some will play games or hang out to have some fun. On the New Year’s Day, people get up early and say good words to anyone they meet. Children can get lucky money from relatives.
In the following days, we will visit relative’s home and bring New Year’s wishes to them. In short, it’s a time for family gathering and all of us enjoy it.

Today, my family went to visit my grandmother's house. Because of the distance, my father decided to drive. On the way, my father and I smiled and looked at the roadside scenery. The high mountains on both sides of the road were covered with dense pine trees, a beautiful picture.
To grandma's house, grandma and grandpa came out to meet us. I say hello to them, my grandmother gave me a red envelope, and praised my good. My cousin took me up the hill to play, and stood up on the high mountain looking out, and the distant mountains were like the steamed buns in my grandmother's house, still steaming hot.
In the evening, grandma made a big dinner for us, and we all sat together and ate a reunion dinner. I had a great time today!
