爸爸給我買了一艘遙控船。一天，我上完英語課以后，利用休息時間和我的好朋友吳雙一起到西院二系教學樓后面的養魚池去試我的遙控巡邏船。我們到了養魚池的岸邊，把已經裝了電池的模型船放入水中，試航就正式開始了。

首先，我把遙控器上的兩個操縱桿一起往前推，二個螺旋槳就轉了起來，轉的.速度簡直比真正的軍艦還要快。后面我就開始玩花樣了，我讓船一會兒前進、后退，一會兒向左、右轉，有時候眼看著要撞到石頭上了，我又馬上把它退回來，還有時候左舷或者右舷擦著岸邊石頭了，我會根據它是哪邊擦著了而決定停掉哪一個螺旋槳。我之所以這么熟練是因為在此之前我已經瀏覽好幾遍說明書并熟記了操作程序。

The reason why I am so skilled is that I have browsed the instructions several times and memorized the operating procedures.
不過有時一不小心也會碰著石頭，幸虧撞的不是很厲害，所以船只沒有遭到損壞，真是不幸中的萬幸。正當我們玩的盡興的時候，船的速度漸漸慢了下來，我知道是電力不足了，我們只好遺憾收起模型回家給電池沖電了。
However, sometimes I would bump into a stone accidentally. Fortunately, the collision was not very severe, so the ship was not damaged. It's a lucky thing. When we had a good time, the speed of the boat slowed down gradually. I knew that the power was insufficient, so we had to put away the model and go home to charge the battery.
