　　Fish

　　I am a girl of eleven. I like animals. Of all the animals, I like fish best.

　　Fishes are animals in water. They swim in water freely. Some fishes are small. The smallest one is as big as a fly. While some are big. The biggest fish grows up to more than 60 feet long.

　　They have different kinds of colors, such as red, yellow, and black. And they have many shapes, too. Some are long, but some are round. Some have gib heads, but some have long tails.

　　I wish I could be a fish and swim in the sea!

　　The students in Group One planted trees and watered flowers。 The studentsin Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourist。 They also cleaned the benches in the park。 I was in Group Three。 We went to the children's playground and cleaned all the equipment there。 We worked very hard。

　　At about eleven we finished working。 We met at the gate of the park。 We all felt tired but very happy。

　　我上了啟蒙級、預備級、劍橋一級、劍橋二級，和現在學著的新概念一級，已有五年之多。

　　在剛剛進入啟蒙級的時候才7歲，我還很小，有時學著很吃力，還經常忘了聽錄音。隨著歲數漸漸的增長，我能聽懂了，每次上學都很開心。

　　在學劍橋二級的時候，我有一陣子就想打退堂鼓，不再上英語輔導班了。但是，我媽媽鼓勵我，說：“劭卿，這英語是必學不可的.。”“加油，我相信，你一定能行的！”……聽到這些鼓勵的話語，我又充滿了信心。

　　在報了新概念一級之后，知道了是張老師教我們，我們欣喜若狂。這個班是個實驗班，都是些“精英”，這都是老師說的。她還說我們這個班是聯盟劍橋英語學校中學新概念年齡最小的一個班，而且成績還很優秀。聽完這句話，我非常高興。

　　在學新概念時，在課間和同學們說說笑笑，討論討論一下玩兒的游戲，很高興。在上課時，老師笑容滿面，和同學們互動，不管是老師、同學還是家長，都是高高興興的上課或聽課。我再也沒有像劍橋二級那時的想法，每次都是高高興興的去上學，這使我更加喜歡英語了。當然，也讓我對淄博聯盟劍橋英語學校的感情也越來越深了。

　　This afternoon I joined in the English Corner at the Wuyi Square. There I met Tom, an American boy. He was tall and cute, with blue eyes and brown hair. He was as old as I. We talked with each other for two hours. He told me that his parents had come to China on business. It so happened that he was on holidays. So he came with them.

　　He was glad to see that so many Chinese children like English, and we agreed to keep in touch with each other later on. How happy I am to have made a new friend!
