　　今天下午，我去會議室參加了英語講故事比賽。一進會議室，最前面一排有幾位老師，后面依次是從三年級到五年級的參賽選手。我發現，我還挺喜歡比賽的。因為比賽前的那種心情很緊張，但緊張中又夾帶著幾分興奮。

　　先是五年級比賽，之后依次往下。輪到我了。站到臺上的時候，我的雙腿有些發抖，翻開書讀時，第一句讀錯了，我趕緊改進。為了不讓自己再讀錯，我讓自己的心冷靜下來。雙腿也不再抖得那么厲害了。我講的'故事是《愛唱歌的鳥，內容是有一只愛唱歌的鳥，國王把它關進籠子里，給它美味的食物，可它就是不唱。最后國王把它放走了，她又像以前那樣唱歌了。現在所有人都很高興。講完了，我走下臺，回到自己的座位上。有一個女孩跟我的故事一樣，她很有感情把它背誦了出來，還做著動作。我是讀的，有一點感情，沒有做動作。我心想，下次講故事要背下來，要有感情和動作。

　　這次英語講故事比賽真有意思。

　　It was March 12th. It was Chinese Tree Planting Day. The weather was nice. I went to plant trees with my parents. After we got to the park, we began to work. We dug holes and put the trees into the holes. My mother and I watered the trees. Trees are very important for people. They can stop the wind and sound. Growing trees means saving people ourselves. We worked very hard.

　　When the sun went down, we came back home. We were very tired, but we felt very happy. What a nice Tree Planting Day!

Such as: train, ball, balloon, car, doll, plane and skateboard. After that we went to zoo. I saw rabbit, tigers, snails, and lions, hamsters, budgies and zebras. My sister asked me “what do your like?” I answered “I like skipping rope. That's very nice.” She said “Here is you prize, Sunny!” “Oh, thank you! I love it!” I shouted. We sat under a tree. After lunch we drank some milk.

　　Today I was very happy!
