Hello! Today, my topic is "protecting the environment and everyone isresponsible".
Throughout the ages, earth's mother has nurtured countless generations ofchildren with sweet milk. She was beautifully decorated by her children. Now,however, the human race tormented her for its own sake. Man has only one earth;And the earth is facing a severe environmental crisis. "Save the earth" hasbecome the most powerful voice of people all over the world.
Students, we are the small masters of the earth, environmental awareness isthe important symbol of modern people. We should establish a sense ofresponsibility in The Times. Focus on the world and focus on the campus. To pickup the scraps of paper with a bent waist; Don't throw about; Take a few moresteps, don't pass through the green belt, trampling green space. "It isincumbent on all of us to save resources and protect the environment. We need tostart from now, start from our side, start small. Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment.There were few people on the earth,and natural resources seemed to beunlimited.Today things are different. The world has bee too crowded. We areusing up our natural resources，and polluting our environment with dangerouschemicals. If we continue to do this,human life on earth will not survive. Werealize that if too many fish are taken from the sea,there will soon be noneleft. Yet，with modern fishing methods,more and more fish are caught.We knowthat if too many trees are cut down,forests will disappear. Yet,we continue touse powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers arepolluted with waste products,we will die. Yet,waste products are still putinto rivers.
We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate,in afew years,there won't be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?Ifwe eat more vegetables and less meat,there will be more food available. Landfor crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.Ournatural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them.The worldpopulation will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birthcontrol.
Finally,if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have abetter and cleaner planet in the future.

As you know, there are four kinds of pollution. They are air pollution,water pollution, waste pollution and noise pollution. But what can we do tosolve the pollution? I think, firstly, we can make cars that don’t pollute theenvironment. We can ask companies to use modern clean technology. In some bigcities, we can limit the number of cars. Secondly, we can try to use less waterand make sure that we do not pollute the water. We can tell factories that theyare not allowed to pour waste water into the lakes and rivers. Thirdly, weshould not throw rubbish in parks and cities. We can pick up rubbish if we seeit. We can put more rubbish bins in our parks and cities. Fourthly, we can livefar from the noise and make the laws to limit the noise.
The air, water and the whole atmosphere directly influenced our lives, suchas the air, people may cough and it will lead to cancer. So we must try our bestto keep the world clean and tidy. To reach it, I want to put forward threepoints to everybody---Point 1: don’t spit and liter; Point 2: don’t draw on thewall; Point 3: clean the streets every day.
In order to make the environment clean, let’s join our hands together tomake the world better.
